Founded in 1962, the Popular Film Hundred Flowers Award is the oldest and one of the most influential film awards in the Chinese film industry. The 37th Popular Film Hundred Flowers Award ceremony was held in Chengdu, Sichuan, on the evening of August 4, 2023. Highlights of the Night
Among the notable winners, Zhang Yimou secured the Best Director award for his work on the movie “Article 20.” Zhu Yilong impressed audiences with his portrayal of Mo Sanmei in the film “Life Events,” earning him the Best Actor award.
