Synopsis of the Love Story

‘Kimi ga Tokubetsu’ weaves a compelling narrative centered on the delicate romance between an introverted girl, Wakaume Sahoko, and the popular idol Kirigaya Kota. Due to a past heartbreak, Sahoko holds a disdainful view of handsome men, making her interactions with Kota particularly intriguing. When Kota visits Sahoko’s mother’s newly opened restaurant, a mix-up leads to a humorous yet tense confrontation, as Sahoko chastises the idol, stating, ‘Don’t get carried away thinking that everyone likes you!’

Character Dynamics and Relationships

The drama delves deeper into Kota’s perspective, exploring the evolving relationship between him and Sahoko. Audiences will also witness the tumultuous love story involving Asuma Kanato, portrayed by Kimura, and national actress Nanase Emika, played by Yabuki. Additionally, the supporting characters, including Jyutaro from M!LK, Okubo Naru from DXTEEN, and Naoya from Mazzel, add layers of complexity to this love story. Their roles as members of the idol group Like Legend highlight the vibrant yet troubled romantic entanglements that form the heart of the series.
