New Drama Adaptation from Gu Man
The beloved novelist Gu Man is back with a new television adaptation titled “Shine on Me” (骄阳似我). Following the success of adaptations like “Love O2O” and “You Are My Glory,” her latest work, based on the novel “Blazing Sunlight,” promises to capture the hearts of viewers once again. The drama will star Song Weilong and Angel Zhao Jinmai as the leading couple, a pairing that fans have eagerly anticipated.
Stars of the New Project
Despite earlier rumors, the casting of Song Weilong and Zhao Jinmai has now been confirmed following their appearance at the opening banquet. This announcement comes as no surprise to ardent fans who have followed their careers. The cast also includes Lai Weiming, Bai Bingke, and Fan Shiran, with a special appearance by Allen Lin Yilun as Zhai Jinmai’s uncle. In addition, Hong Kong actor Lawrence Ng will portray Nie Xiguang’s father, Nie Chengyuan. This ensemble is set to bring Gu Man’s beloved characters to life.
