Introduction to the Next Spikes Vol. 4
Leina, a promising young talent in the music industry, has recently been chosen for Line Music’s much-anticipated next-generation artist power push project, “Next Spikes Vol. 4.” This initiative aims at promoting emerging artists who are expected to make significant contributions to the music scene in the coming years. The selection process incorporated insights from a survey of teenagers and individuals in their 20s, emphasizing the importance of audience engagement in identifying rising stars.
Leina’s Rising Fame
At only 19 years old, Leina has garnered international attention for her compelling music, particularly among Generation Z listeners. Her performances have received enthusiastic responses, with large crowds attending her shows. Notably, at the Summer Sonic 2024 festival this summer, she showcased her talent in front of a captivated audience, and her first street live performance in Korea attracted an impressive turnout of 2,000 enthusiastic fans.
Upcoming Album and Tour
On September 25th, Leina is set to release her first full-length album titled “The Birth of Love, The Cry of Sorrow.” This album is generating a buzz, and along with its release, Leina will embark on a nationwide tour covering nine cities. Alongside Leina, three additional groups—Akasaki, Bange Patsun Shonen, and Baby Canta—have also been selected to be part of the “Next Spikes” initiative, signifying a bright future for these emerging artists. A curated playlist featuring these artists is now live on Line Music, showcasing the next wave of talent honored by the “Next Spikes Vol. 4” program.
