The upcoming film ‘Harbin’ has recently unveiled new character posters, adding to the anticipation for its December release. Set in 1909, ‘Harbin’ is a spy film that intricately weaves a narrative of thrilling chases and suspicion, centered around independence fighters and their pursuers.

 

Hyun Bin and His Role

Following the release of Hyun Bin’s poster as Ahn Jung Geun, new character posters have shed light on the other historical figures portrayed in the film. Hyun Bin’s portrayal of Ahn Jung Geun, a significant independence fighter, sets the tone for the authenticity and dedication displayed by the other actors in their respective roles.

 

Introducing the Independence Fighters

The recently revealed posters feature five independence fighters, each played by dedicated actors who bring the historical context to life. Park Jung Min stars as Woo Deok Soon, a fierce independence fighter who places his country’s freedom above all else. Jo Woo Jin portrays Kim Sang Hyun, who stands alongside Woo Deok Soon, risking his life for the nation’s liberation.

 

Jeon Yeo Been plays Gong Bu In, a noble and resolute fighter based in Vladivostok. Yoo Jae Myung embodies Choi Jae Hyeong, who provides essential support with financial aid and safe houses. Lee Dong Wook takes on the role of Lee Chang Seop, an independence fighter in conflict with Ahn Jung Geun, adding layers of tension and intrigue to the narrative.

 

The Antagonist: Mori Tatsuo

In stark contrast to these fighters, Park Hoon portrays Lieutenant Colonel Mori Tatsuo of the Japanese army. His character serves as a formidable pursuer, emphasizing the high stakes and intense conflict within the story.

The dedication of the cast and crew is evident as they went to great lengths, filming across Mongolia, Latvia, and South Korea to authentically capture the essence of the period.
