As a prominent member of the K-pop group Kep1er, the 25-year-old idol confirmed her departure from Topclass Entertainment in a heartfelt post titled “Begin Again.” This decision comes after three years of collaboration with her agency, surprising many fans who have been supportive throughout her journey.
Kep1er’s Historic Contract Renewal
In an exciting turn during 2024, Kep1er made history by becoming the first group from Mnet’s audition shows to renew their contracts after debuting in “Girls Planet 999.” Shen Xiaoting was among the seven out of nine members who decided to continue their journey with the group. However, just as fans were settling in, Kep1er’s agency, Klap Entertainment, announced that Xiaoting would be suspending her activities with the group to focus on solo projects in mainland China.
