Shin Hae Sun’s Anticipation for ‘Dear Hyeri’

Shin Hae Sun has expressed her excitement for her upcoming drama, ‘Dear Hyeri.’ This highly anticipated healing romance drama follows Joo Eun Ho, a veteran announcer who grapples with dissociative identity disorder after a devastating series of events. Her character, portrayed by Shin Hae Sun, is a complex figure who navigates her emotions and relationships in a poignant storyline.

 

Dual Roles and Emotional Depth

In ‘Dear Hyeri,’ Shin Hae Sun takes on dual roles, portraying both Joo Eun Ho and Joo Hye Ri. She described the experience as transformative, noting, “The happiest I’ve been recently was when I first read the script for ‘Dear Hyeri.’” This deep connection to the characters allowed her to showcase a range of emotions, from passion to sorrow. She shared the challenge of making Eun Ho appear both passionate yet dull, while Hye Ri comes across as dull yet passionate.

 

 

The Essence of Happiness in ‘Dear Hyeri’

Shin Hae Sun emphasized the importance of inner happiness, saying, “This drama has personally reminded me once again that happiness truly comes from within.” Her dedication to understanding her character’s emotions led her to her favorite line: “I hate Hyun Oh—because I can’t have him.” This encapsulates Eun Ho’s deep love and pain regarding her complex relationships. As the show unfolds, the contrasting dynamics of love are explored, making ‘Dear Hyeri’ not just a story of romance but one of self-discovery and emotional healing.
