The highly anticipated film, Gekijoban Doctor X, marks an exciting milestone, showcasing the first collaboration between Ado and Ayase. Starring the talented Yonekura Ryoko, this movie is an extension of the beloved TV Asahi series that has captivated audiences since its debut in October 2012.

Behind the Scenes: Ado and Ayase Unite

Ado, known for her powerful vocals and dynamic performances, previously lent her voice to the theme song of the show’s seventh season. In this film, she joins forces with Ayase, the brilliant mind behind the popular music group Yoasobi. Ayase has written the lyrics and composed the music for the new theme song titled “Episode X,” further elevating the film’s artistic value. This collaboration promises to bring a fresh and evocative sound to the Doctor X saga.

The Legacy of Doctor X

Doctor X follows the ambitious freelance surgeon, Daimon Michiko, played by Yonekura. Renowned for her unparalleled skills and uncompromising stance, Michiko often disrupts the status quo within the hospital while consistently delivering success in the operating room. As the series has developed over seven seasons, it has maintained high ratings, affirming its place in the hearts of fans. The film aims to unravel Michiko’s origins and her most significant challenges.

Slated for release on December 6, Gekijoban Doctor X not only celebrates the 65th anniversary of TV Asahi but also brings together a talented ensemble cast. Actors such as Tanaka Kei, Uchida Yuki, and many others join Yonekura in what promises to be a captivating continuation of a beloved story.
