Low-cost carrier Airasia Cambodia has announced the launch of new flights connecting Siem Reap City to Singapore, set to commence on November 9. In addition to the Siem Reap-Singapore route, Airasia Cambodia recently launched daily flights between Phnom Penh and Kuala Lumpur and announced a service from Siem Reap to Phuket beginning this winter. Data from the Ministry of Tourism indicates that Cambodia attracted 3.7 million foreign visitors in the first seven months of this year—a remarkable 23.2% increase compared to the previous year. This surge in tourism is a promising sign for the sector, further emphasized by ticket sales for Angkor park, which saw a 33% rise.
