Exciting New Drama on the Horizon

Lee Joo Myung has recently been confirmed to join the highly anticipated cast of the upcoming romance drama, “My Youth” (working title). This charming series features notable actors such as Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee, setting the stage for an engaging narrative that explores love and self-discovery.

A Tale of Love and Life

The storyline follows Sun Woo Hae, played by Song Joong Ki, who finds himself leading an ordinary life at a later stage than most, while Chun Woo Hee portrays Sung Je Yeon, a determined character who aims to achieve her own success, even if it means disrupting her first love’s contentment. After a ten-year separation, these two protagonists, who once provided vital support to one another through challenging times, reunite, offering viewers a chance to witness the rekindling of their relationship.

Lee Joo Myung’s Role

Lee Joo Myung will take on the character of Mo Tae Rin, a talented actress under Feel Entertainment and managed by Sung Je Yeon. Mo Tae Rin, who has evolved from a child star to a celebrated adult actress, experiences an unexpected twist in her life when she encounters her first love from school. Her character is poised to introduce a captivating dynamic to the unfolding romance, which promises to generate excitement among audiences. Notably, Lee Joo Myung has already demonstrated her versatility in previous roles in productions such as “My Fellow Citizens!”, “Missing: The Other Side,” and “Twenty Five, Twenty One.”

Written by Park Si Hyun of the acclaimed series “Run On,” “My Youth” is set to be produced by Highzium Studio and directed by Lee Sang Yeop, known for works like “Yumi’s Cells” and “Familiar Wife.” As we anticipate its premiere in 2025, fans can look forward to a fresh and captivating romance that showcases Lee Joo Myung’s impressive talent.
