Zhang plays Kunlun immortal Fu Jiuxia, while Chen takes on the role of Xie Zhuo, a powerful snow wolf demon. Once admired as a perfect couple, they unexpectedly “divorce” after 500 years of marriage—over the hilarious reason of “he won’t let me eat spicy food.” However, fate throws them into a time loop, forcing them to face unresolved feelings and rediscover their bond.

With beloved tropes like second-chance romance, strong leads, and a mix of sweet and angsty dynamics, 《和离》ticks many boxes for fantasy drama fans.

Zhang Linghe, known for his breakout role in Love Between Fairy and Devil, continues to impress with his elegant period looks. Meanwhile, Chen Duling has proven her versatility and charm in multiple historical dramas, making their pairing highly anticipated.

With its compelling storyline and striking visuals, 《和离》 is poised to stand out in the crowded xianxia market. Fans are already buzzing—could this be the genre’s next big hit?
