“Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari” Unveils Supporting Cast for Sota Fukushi-Led Drama

The upcoming Fuji TV drama Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari, starring Sota Fukushi, has officially revealed its supporting cast lineup. Newly announced cast members include Ai Yoshikawa, Bokuzo Masana, Terunosuke Takezai, Rina Ota, Nanato Tanihara, and Chikara Honda. Veteran actor Naoto Ogata will also take on a pivotal role alongside Fukushi.

The drama features an original script inspired by the ideas of an experienced metropolitan police reporter, aiming to portray the pride, dignity, conflicts, and struggles of public relations officers as well as detectives working in the field. The series offers a realistic look at how police PR teams navigate media pressure while dealing with ongoing investigations.

Synopsis

Rintaro Imaizumi (played by Sota Fukushi) joins the Tokyo Metropolitan Police with dreams of entering the prestigious First Investigative Division. However, he unexpectedly gets assigned to the Public Relations Department 2, the unit responsible for managing press relations. The drama follows his efforts to solve cases from the perspective of a police PR officer, while revealing the behind-the-scenes dynamics between law enforcement and the media.

Tokyo P.D. Keishicho Koho 2 Kakari will air every Tuesday at 9 p.m., beginning January 13 on Fuji TV.
