KBS 2TV’s upcoming historical fantasy romance “To My Beloved Thief” has released new stills highlighting the striking double life of its female lead, played by Nam Ji Hyun, drawing attention to the character’s layered identity.

The drama follows Hong Eun Jo (Nam Ji Hyun), a woman who unexpectedly becomes a legendary bandit known as Gil Dong, and Yi Yeol (Moon Sang Min), a Joseon royal prince who ends up switching souls with her while pursuing the thief. After the sudden soul exchange, the two gradually move from opposition to cooperation, ultimately protecting each other and the people around them.
By day, Hong Eun Jo lives as a physician. She carefully brews herbal medicine, tends to the sick, and greets others with a warm smile, embodying compassion and quiet dedication. Her daytime persona reflects sincerity, kindness, and a deep sense of responsibility toward human life.

At night, however, she transforms completely. Clad in black and wearing a mask, Hong Eun Jo slips into the shadows as a thief. Her sharp gaze and tense presence reveal determination and resolve, marking her as a figure spoken of only in hushed rumors yet widely known among the public.
The stark contrast between her sunlit days and shadowed nights hints at an extraordinary story hidden beneath her routine. What compelled her to lead such drastically different lives, and what secrets lie behind this dual existence, are questions the drama invites viewers to explore.
“To My Beloved Thief” is scheduled to premiere on January 3 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
