The television drama 《不期而遇的生活》- The Story of Two Families has officially been scheduled to premiere on December 28, 2025. Centered on contemporary urban realities, the series explores emotional bonds and life choices through the stories of ordinary people navigating unexpected turning points in their personal and professional lives.
The cast includes Zhang Duo, Dong Xuan, Chang Shixin, Liu Xun, Wan Guopeng, Ding Yongdai, Wang Liyun, Nie Yuan, Zhang Xilin, and Pan Yang. With performers spanning multiple generations, the drama aims to present a layered and authentic portrayal of modern social relationships.
The series will air during prime time on CCTV-8. Beginning December 28, two episodes will be broadcast nightly at 7:30 p.m., followed by daily updates of two episodes. Starting January 1, 2026, the broadcast will increase to three episodes per night, with the finale scheduled for January 9.
