Drama “The Long River at Sunset” Releases Viewing Schedule Across TV and Online Platforms

The television series 《长河落日》- The Long River at Sunset has officially confirmed its broadcast schedule, set to premiere on January 1, 2026. Featuring a strong cast including Zhang Luyi, Janine Chang, Zhang Chenguang, and Zhang Songwen, along with several international actors, the drama has drawn attention for both its scale and its historical tone.

The series will air simultaneously on multiple platforms. On Beijing Satellite TV and Zhejiang Satellite TV, the show will begin broadcasting at 7:30 p.m. on January 1 with two episodes. From then on, two episodes will air each night from Sunday through Thursday, while one episode per night will be shown on Fridays and Saturdays. Beijing Satellite TV is scheduled to air the final episode on January 26. Zhejiang Satellite TV, following a slightly different programming arrangement, will air two episodes on January 24 and conclude the series on January 25.

For online viewers, members will gain early access starting January 1 with four episodes released on the first day. Subsequent updates will follow a similar rhythm to television broadcasts, with two episodes released nightly from Sunday to Thursday and one episode on Fridays and Saturdays. The final two episodes will be released together on January 24. Non-member viewers will begin with one episode at 10:00 p.m. on January 1. From January 8 onward, two episodes will be released nightly from Wednesday to Sunday for a limited viewing period, with the final episode becoming available on February 8.

Through its staggered release strategy across television and digital platforms, 《长河落日》- The Long River at Sunset aims to accommodate diverse viewing habits while maintaining steady narrative momentum. As one of the major domestic dramas opening the 2026 television season, the series is positioned to attract sustained attention throughout its broadcast run.
