The Korean Business Research Institute has released its brand reputation rankings for individual boy group members for January 2026. The rankings were compiled through an analysis of big data collected between December 17, 2025 and January 17, 2026, evaluating 755 male idol members across consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community awareness indexes.

BTS’s Jimin claimed first place with a brand reputation index of 4,142,149, representing a 32.74 percent increase from December. High-ranking keywords associated with him included “ARMY,” “Who,” and “Like Crazy,” while related terms such as “record,” “enter,” and “one and only” highlighted his continued impact in terms of achievements and public discourse. His positivity-to-negativity analysis showed an impressive 91.87 percent positive response rate.
BTS’s Jungkook ranked second with a brand reputation index of 3,709,736, marking a notable 56.62 percent increase from the previous month. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon placed third with an index of 2,632,471, maintaining strong individual influence, followed by BTS’s Jin in fourth place with 2,358,914. EXO’s Baekhyun rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 2,180,208, reflecting a sharp 78.30 percent rise compared to December.
Overall, BTS members continued to dominate the upper ranks, underscoring their sustained global presence. At the same time, artists from various generations and groups remained visible throughout the list, illustrating the enduring and diversified influence of individual boy group members across music, entertainment, and fan-driven communities.
