The upcoming live-action film SAKAMOTO DAYS has announced the addition of Shiono Akihisa and Watanabe Keisuke to its cast. Both actors will portray members of the Slur gang, a ruthless criminal organization that targets the protagonist played by Meguro Ren of Snow Man. Alongside the casting news, a newly released visual also teases the character Slur, described as the most dangerous enemy Sakamoto has ever faced, though the identity of the actor playing this role has not yet been revealed.

SAKAMOTO DAYS is a live-action adaptation of the popular manga series by Suzuki Yuto and is directed by Fukuda Yuichi, known for his distinctive comedic style in works such as HK: Hentai Kamen, Gintama, Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii, Saint☆Onii-san, Shin Kaishaku: Sangokushi, and Under Ninja. Previously announced cast members include Takahashi Fumiya, Ueto Aya, Yoshimoto Miyu, Yokota Mayu, and Tozuka Junki.
The story centers on Sakamoto Taro, once a legendary hitman whose name alone struck fear into the underworld. After falling in love at first sight with Aoi, a convenience store clerk portrayed by Ueto Aya, Sakamoto chooses to abandon his life as an assassin. He eventually settles into a quiet domestic life, marrying Aoi and raising their daughter Hana, played by Yoshimoto Miyu, while running a small neighborhood grocery store as a noticeably out-of-shape middle-aged man.
Peace proves short-lived when Sakamoto is approached with an offer to return to the criminal world, an invitation he firmly refuses. Soon after, a steady stream of dangerous adversaries begins to appear at his shop, forcing Sakamoto to confront his past in order to protect the family he cherishes above all else.
SAKAMOTO DAYS is scheduled for theatrical release on April 29, bringing one of Shonen Jump’s most popular action-comedy series to the big screen in live-action form.
