The fantasy romance drama “No Tail to Tell” has released new stills ahead of its upcoming episode, signaling a dramatic shift in the story. The series stars Kim Hye Yoon as Eun Ho, a quirky Gen Z gumiho determined not to become human, and Lomon as Kang Si Yeol, an overly confident world-class soccer player. The drama follows the turbulent journey of the two as they struggle to save one another amid intertwined destinies.

In the previous episode, Eun Ho confronted Lee Yoon, played by Choi Seung Yoon, rendering him incapable of lying. Forced to reveal the truth, he confessed to a series of crimes, including a DUI hit-and-run, murder, and the concealment of a body. This revelation allowed Eun Ho to recover powers she had been steadily losing. At the same time, Lee Yoon’s past actions sent Hyun Woo Seok and Kang Si Yeol down drastically different paths as athletes. Nine years later, Si Yeol has risen to international stardom with a major overseas club, while Woo Seok has fallen so far that he can no longer compete even in Korea’s fourth division. When the two cross paths again, Eun Ho’s wish card appears, hinting that their reversed fates may once more be linked.

The newly released stills also introduce a pivotal new character. A mysterious man is shown observing Eun Ho from a short distance while standing beside Lee Yoon. He is revealed to be Jang Do Cheol, portrayed by Kim Tae Woo, a shaman with a chilling presence. Although his exact connection to Lee Yoon remains unclear, their pairing suggests the formation of a dangerous alliance built on shared darkness.

Jang Do Cheol’s unsettling smile and the blade aimed toward Eun Ho heighten the sense of threat, while Eun Ho’s expression conveys anger as much as fear. Following his earlier declaration, “From now on, I’m going fox hunting,” questions arise about why he is targeting Eun Ho and what kind of ominous bond ties them together.

The production team teased that Jang Do Cheol’s arrival instantly shifts the tone of the drama, urging viewers to anticipate the unpredictable developments ahead, including why a human would hunt a gumiho and how Eun Ho will fight to protect herself. The next episode of “No Tail to Tell” airs on January 23 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
