KBS2’s upcoming daily drama “Pearl in Red” has released new stills highlighting the central figures of the Adele Group’s powerful chaebol family, drawing attention to the cold tension and ruthless ambition at the heart of the story.

“Pearl in Red” is a revenge-driven drama that follows two women who return under false identities to expose the long-buried sins of the Adele family. Park Jin Hee stars as Kim Dan Hee, who abandons her former life after uncovering the tragic truth behind her twin sister’s fate and begins living under her sister’s name to pursue revenge. Nam Sang Ji plays Baek Jin Joo, a woman who reemerges as “Chloe Lee” after losing her family, determined to reclaim justice through retribution.

At the center of the Adele Group’s power structure are Choi Jae Sung as Park Tae Ho, the ruthless chairman who will stop at nothing to achieve his ambitions, and Kim Hee Jung as Oh Jung Ran, his wife and the director of the Adele Gallery. Together, they represent the polished yet merciless face of the conglomerate.

The newly unveiled stills capture the razor-sharp tension between Park Tae Ho and Oh Jung Ran. Though they present a united front as a married couple, both conceal their own secrets and strategically exploit each other’s vulnerabilities in their pursuit of power. A master tactician, Park Tae Ho calculates every move with precision and repeatedly stands in Kim Dan Hee’s way, becoming the greatest obstacle in her quest for revenge. Meanwhile, Oh Jung Ran commands attention with her glamorous, ambition-fueled presence. Her serious, contemplative expressions hint at a dangerous plan unfolding, as she prepares to confront Kim Dan Hee head-on in a bid to seize full control of the Adele Group.

Blending themes of revenge, deception, and corporate power struggles, “Pearl in Red” promises an intense look at the darker side of wealth and ambition. The drama is set to premiere on February 23 at 7:50 p.m. KST.
