Kim Woo Bin and Seo Eun Soo are reportedly considering roles in tvN’s upcoming drama “Gifted” (working title), a series adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name.

On January 30, Seo Eun Soo’s agency HighZium Studio confirmed, “Seo Eun Soo is currently in talks to appear in ‘Gifted,’ and the outlook is positive.” Prior to this, Kim Woo Bin had already been reported to be reviewing an offer for the male lead role in the project.

“Gifted” centers on the story of a baseball coach who acquires extraordinary abilities following an unexpected accident. After the incident, his career takes an unexpected turn as he moves from coaching a professional baseball team to leading a bottom-ranked high school team, setting the stage for a story that blends sports, growth, and personal transformation.

Seo Eun Soo is said to be considering the role of Yoon Seo Jin, a physical education teacher who also serves as the head coach of a girls’ baseball team. Meanwhile, Kim Woo Bin is reportedly offered the role of Jung Min Yong, a warm-hearted and devoted baseball coach known for his dedication to his players. The character is described as someone who stays up late analyzing game footage and writing detailed reports, always prioritizing players’ long-term growth and effort over immediate results.

As casting discussions continue, attention is growing around how the webtoon’s storyline will be adapted for television and whether Kim Woo Bin and Seo Eun Soo will ultimately confirm their participation in the project.
