The mystery adventure series Agents of Mystery is set to return with a new season, and the cast has shared their thoughts on what viewers can expect. Led by producer Jung Jong Yeon—known for shows such as The Devil’s Plan, The Genius, and The Great Escape—the program follows a group of investigators as they take on bizarre cases that defy scientific explanation.

Season 2 welcomes back the original members Lee Yong Jin, John Park, Hyeri, Kim Do Hoon, and aespa’s Karina, while introducing a new agent, Gabee. The upcoming season significantly expands its scope with the addition of outdoor missions and a more fully developed narrative universe. The team will continue operating as agents of the secret organization “XIN,” tackling mysterious and seemingly supernatural incidents through increasingly complex assignments.
In newly released character stills, leader Lee Yong Jin stands out with his intense focus. He explained that presenting a second season with a broader world and deeper story feels especially meaningful, adding that he concentrated less on individual performance and more on fulfilling his role within the team with clarity and consistency.

Known as the group’s “brain,” John Park emphasized the heightened intensity of the new season. He noted that the missions are more spectacular than before and hinted at moments that genuinely caught him off guard, suggesting that the cases will push the team into unfamiliar territory.
Hyeri, often described as the team’s problem solver, highlighted the dramatic expansion of scale and concept. She expressed confidence that both returning fans and viewers seeking large-scale mystery programs would find the new season satisfying, adding that she worked hard to stay fully immersed during every shoot.

Action-oriented member Kim Do Hoon shared that he prepared extensively for the season, recognizing courage as a crucial investigative skill. To overcome his own fears, he deliberately exposed himself to horror films ahead of filming, aiming to face dangerous situations with sharper judgment.
Karina also spoke about her preparation, explaining that she wanted to show a more decisive and evolved side of herself. She practiced by visiting escape rooms and watching films that challenged her composure under pressure.
Regarding the addition of Gabee, producer Jung Jong Yeon said she possessed all the qualities the show was looking for. Gabee revealed that she had long hoped to be part of the program and approached the experience by focusing on creativity-driven challenges and piecing together narratives from scattered clues.
The existing members praised Gabee’s impact on the group, noting her bold decision-making and energetic presence. Several cast members mentioned that her willingness to act decisively often reignited momentum when the team hesitated, strengthening their overall performance.
As cooperation becomes increasingly essential in Season 2, the cast described their chemistry as tighter than ever. While each member brings a distinct personality and skill set, they emphasized that their collective strength lies in mutual trust and balance. This sense of unity, built through shared challenges, is expected to be a defining element of the new season.
Agents of Mystery Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on February 27, promising expanded missions, deeper storytelling, and a more cohesive team dynamic.
