The upcoming romantic comedy Boyfriend on Demand has released new stills featuring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Seo In Guk, drawing attention ahead of its premiere. Directed by Kim Jung Sik, known for Work Later, Drink Now and Not Others, the drama blends workplace reality with virtual dating experiences.

Jisoo stars as Seo Mi Rae, an overworked webtoon producer struggling under constant pressure. In the newly revealed images, Mi Rae appears exhausted on her way to work, wearing noise-canceling headphones as if trying to shut out the world. She dozes off during her commute, capturing the familiar fatigue of modern office life. Another still shows her standing outdoors in the middle of winter, stamping her feet to stay warm, highlighting the quiet loneliness of her daily routine.

Additional images show Mi Rae putting on the “Boyfriend on Demand” virtual dating device with a look of curiosity and anticipation. Viewers are invited to wonder what kind of dates will unfold once she enters the virtual world, as the drama explores her bittersweet office life and emotional shifts between reality and simulation.

Seo In Guk plays Park Kyeong Nam, a popular webtoon producer at Nemo Studio. At work, he is highly capable and gives off an untouchable, cool-headed aura. To Mi Rae, however, he is an “uninterpretable” colleague she would rather avoid. His distant expression in the stills subtly reflects the tension between the two characters.

In contrast, another still reveals a completely different side of Kyeong Nam. Appearing visibly drunk, he lets down his guard and displays an unexpectedly clumsy and endearing charm, creating a sharp contrast with his usual professional demeanor and adding humor to his character.

Boyfriend on Demand is set to premiere on March 6 via Netflix.
