SBS has released the first still from its upcoming drama Manager Kim (literal title). The series was officially announced on February 10 as part of SBS’s 2026 drama lineup.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Manager Kim is an action-noir drama that follows Manager Kim, a seemingly ordinary office worker whose quiet life is shattered when his daughter goes missing. In his desperate attempt to save her, he is forced to reveal a secret that must never be exposed, putting everything on the line.

So Ji Sub stars as Manager Kim, who appears to be a mild-mannered employee at a small savings bank but is, in reality, a former North Korean special operative. Once an elite agent now blacklisted, his very existence must remain hidden in South Korea.

Choi Dae Hoon plays Sung Han Soo, a former taekwondo gold medalist who now runs a local taekwondo studio. Beneath his friendly exterior lies a concealed past as a secret agent following his retirement from the field.

Yoon Kyung Ho takes on the role of Park Jin Chul, a legendary figure once described as being beyond the nation’s control. Despite his formidable history, he now takes the greatest pride in being known simply as “Da Bin’s dad,” revealing a softer, devoted side as a father.

In the newly released still, the three former agents are seen sharing drinks at a modest neighborhood restaurant. Manager Kim wears a simple suit befitting his bank job, Sung Han Soo appears in his taekwondo uniform, and Park Jin Chul dons a military-style casual jacket. Though they now live as ordinary fathers, all three are captured staring in the same direction with tense expressions, hinting that their peaceful lives may soon be disrupted.

Manager Kim is scheduled to premiere later this year.
