KBS1’s upcoming weekday series Our Happy Days has offered a first glimpse into the character played by Uhm Hyun Kyung, raising anticipation ahead of its premiere. The drama is described as a warm family story that weaves together narratives from multiple generations, centering on the tense clash between a seemingly perfect man and an endearingly clumsy woman as they each strive to become the protagonist of their own lives.

In Our Happy Days, Uhm Hyun Kyung takes on the role of Jo Eun Ae, a developer and co-CEO of the AI startup “Lucky Joy.” Known for her unwavering optimism, Jo Eun Ae faces a sudden setback when she loses “Joy,” the AI companion she devoted herself to creating. This unexpected incident entangles her with Go Gyeol, played by Yoon Jong Hoon, setting the stage for unforeseen changes in her life. As events unfold, Jo Eun Ae is forced to confront challenges that test both her resilience and her outlook.

Newly released stills highlight the emotional range of Jo Eun Ae. In one image, she appears with her signature bright smile, reflecting her positive spirit. In another, she is seen wearing a determined expression, suggesting resolve in the face of adversity. A separate still captures her in a moment of shock, hinting at an impending crisis that could reshape her path. The images build curiosity about the nature of the trial awaiting Jo Eun Ae and how she will navigate the obstacles ahead in Our Happy Days.

The production team praised Uhm Hyun Kyung for fully embodying the character, noting that her performance brings depth and vitality to both Jo Eun Ae and the broader narrative of Our Happy Days. The series is scheduled to premiere in March as the follow-up to Marie and Her Three Daddies, marking a new chapter in KBS1’s weekday lineup.
