Kim Seon Ho and Lee Ki Taek have officially confirmed their participation in the upcoming variety program Bonjour Bakery. On March 4, Kim Seon Ho’s agency Fantagio announced that the actor would appear on the show, while Lee Ki Taek’s agency KeyEast likewise confirmed his casting.
Set in a rural village, Bonjour Bakery is described as a heartwarming healing variety show centered on a senior French dessert café that creates pastries using Korean local specialties. The program was previously introduced as part of Coupang Play’s 2026 content lineup, with veteran actors Kim Hee Ae and Cha Seung Won already confirmed as cast members. With the addition of Kim Seon Ho and Lee Ki Taek, the ensemble now brings together performers from diverse acting backgrounds, raising expectations for a blend of culinary challenges and interpersonal chemistry.

Ahead of filming, the cast members have reportedly been dedicating time to learning baking and barista skills despite their busy schedules. This preparation suggests that Bonjour Bakery will place emphasis not only on variety entertainment but also on the authentic process of crafting desserts and beverages, reinforcing its healing and slice-of-life tone.
Notably, Cha Seung Won and Kim Seon Ho previously collaborated on the Disney+ series The Tyrant, and their reunion in Bonjour Bakery is drawing particular interest. Observers are curious to see how their established on-screen dynamic will translate into a more spontaneous variety show environment. Meanwhile, Lee Ki Taek is currently appearing in JTBC’s weekend drama The Practical Guide to Love, adding further visibility to his participation in Bonjour Bakery.
Bonjour Bakery is scheduled to premiere in May, marking the first time Kim Seon Ho and Lee Ki Taek will join Kim Hee Ae and Cha Seung Won in this rural café-themed variety format.
