Actress Jung Yu Mi is reportedly considering a new romance drama project that may see her sharing the screen with Lee Dong Wook.
On March 6, Jung Yu Mi’s agency Management SOOP confirmed that the actress has received a casting offer for Love Affair (working title) and is currently reviewing the proposal positively. While no final decision has been announced, the potential collaboration has already attracted attention among viewers.

Love Affair is a new drama from director Mo Wan Il, known for helming the widely discussed series The World of the Married. The upcoming project is expected to explore a complex emotional narrative centered on the sudden arrival of a dangerous romance that disrupts an otherwise stable life.
The story follows a character who appears to have a fulfilling marriage and a secure career, only to see that seemingly perfect life unravel when a fatal love enters unexpectedly—an encounter described as abrupt and destructive, much like a traffic accident. The drama aims to portray how a single emotional moment can alter the course of an entire life.
Lee Dong Wook has previously been offered the male lead role of Kim Ji Hoon, while Jung Yu Mi has reportedly been cast as his wife. If both actors confirm their participation, the pairing of Jung Yu Mi and Lee Dong Wook is likely to become one of the notable collaborations in the upcoming drama lineup.
According to industry sources, Love Affair is currently preparing for production and is scheduled to begin filming in the first half of this year.
