The upcoming Korean film Jjanggu has released a new set of still images, offering a glimpse into the emotional journey of young people striving to achieve their dreams. The movie stars Jung Woo as the lead character, whose persistence in the face of repeated rejection forms the heart of the story.

The film centers on Jjanggu, an aspiring actor widely regarded as an “audition prodigy.” Despite his talent, he faces constant setbacks and frustrations. Nevertheless, he continues to push forward, driven by a single unwavering goal: to succeed as an actor. The newly unveiled stills capture candid and heartfelt moments from his daily life, highlighting both the struggles and small victories that shape his journey.

Supporting him along the way are his close friends, including Jang Jae, played by Shin Seung Ho, and Kkangnaengi, portrayed by Jo Beom Gyu. Their friendship underscores the importance of companionship and mutual support during difficult times, adding emotional depth to the narrative.

Romantic tension and rivalry also play significant roles in the storyline. The stills hint at evolving dynamics between Jjanggu and Min Hee, played by Krystal Jung, suggesting a relationship that balances affection with uncertainty. Meanwhile, the presence of his rival Jun Sang, portrayed by Hyun Bong Sik, introduces an element of competition that further tests his determination.

With its focus on perseverance, friendship, and personal growth, Jjanggu aims to resonate with audiences navigating similar life challenges. The film is scheduled for nationwide theatrical release on April 22, and industry observers will be watching closely to see how it performs at the box office
