Park Min Young, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo have officially confirmed their roles in the upcoming romance drama Nine to Six (working title), a project set to explore relationships within the dynamics of a modern workplace. Scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026, the drama is already drawing attention for its cast and its character-driven narrative.

Nine to Six centers on three individuals working within the legal team of Chronic Motors, each representing different perspectives on love, ambition, and personal growth. The story follows Kang Yi Ji, Han Seon Woo, and Park Hyun Tae as their lives intersect in both professional and emotional ways, gradually unfolding an office romance shaped by contrasting personalities and evolving connections.

In the drama, Park Min Young takes on the role of Kang Yi Ji, a highly competent and rational deputy manager known for her strong work ethic. As a self-proclaimed workaholic, Kang Yi Ji approaches life with logic, believing that dating and marriage are ultimately governed by hormones rather than genuine emotion. However, her perspective begins to shift after encountering two very different men, setting the stage for subtle emotional change. Through this role, Park Min Young is expected to portray a nuanced transformation from emotional detachment to a more complex understanding of relationships.

Opposite her, Yook Sungjae plays Han Seon Woo, an intern who embodies warmth and sincerity. Often described as an ideal man rarely found in reality, Han Seon Woo combines quick judgment with diligence, earning the trust of those around him. His kind-hearted nature and sense of responsibility position him as a stabilizing presence within the team, and his interactions with Kang Yi Ji are likely to bring both emotional tension and quiet resonance. With this role, Yook Sungjae is set to showcase a gentle yet grounded character that contrasts with the more pragmatic outlook of Kang Yi Ji.

Meanwhile, Go Soo portrays Park Hyun Tae, a newly appointed division head at Chronic Motors Korea. Unlike others, Park Hyun Tae evaluates Kang Yi Ji solely based on her professional abilities, maintaining a composed and objective demeanor. His presence introduces another layer to the narrative, as his interactions with Kang Yi Ji reflect a different kind of connection—one rooted in respect, competence, and subtle emotional undertones. Go Soo is expected to bring depth and restraint to this role, balancing authority with understated emotion.

With its focus on workplace relationships and emotional development, Nine to Six aims to present a grounded yet engaging romance set against the backdrop of corporate life. Led by Park Min Young, Yook Sungjae, and Go Soo, the drama is poised to examine how individuals navigate love, ambition, and personal beliefs within the structured rhythm of a nine-to-six world.
