Musical theatre stars Kim Hwan Hee and Choi Min Woo are preparing to begin a new chapter together as the couple officially announced their upcoming marriage.

On May 14, both actors personally shared the news through their respective social media accounts, revealing that their wedding ceremony will take place on May 18.

In his announcement, Choi Min Woo reflected warmly on their relationship, describing their meeting as something out of a fairytale. He wrote, “I met the partner with whom I will spend my life on what felt like the most fairytale-like stage. I understand this sudden news may come as a surprise, but I would be grateful for your warm support as I begin the second act of my life.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hwan Hee also shared a heartfelt message about her future husband, expressing confidence and comfort in their relationship. She wrote, “I became certain that if I spend my life with this person, even worries would turn into a joyful journey. I would be happiest if you could bless our new beginning and celebrate it with us.”

Born in 1991 and 1992 respectively, Kim Hwan Hee and Choi Min Woo reportedly first met while participating in Disney in Concert: Beyond the Magic. Their relationship gradually developed within the musical theatre industry, where both have steadily built respected careers over the years.

Choi Min Woo first debuted through the musical Les Misérables – The Story of Two Men and later expanded his stage career through productions such as Love Comes by the Rain, Edgar Allan Poe, and Myeongdong Romance.

Meanwhile, Kim Hwan Hee has become one of the more recognized names in Korean musical theatre through acclaimed performances in productions including Kinky Boots, Four Minutes, Hadestown, and Jekyll and Hyde.
