The narrative unfolds two decades ago when Mu Qingge (played by Xiang Hanzhi), the head of the Xishan School, made a profound sacrifice. To protect the world from the malevolent demon spirit spring, he is forced to offer a golden elixir to seal the spiritual spring, affecting his apprentice Su Yishui (played by Deng Wei). Unfortunately, Mu Qingge is misjudged and killed by the four major sects.

As the tale progresses, Su Yishui learns the shattering truth about Mu Qingge before his death. After facing numerous challenges, he discovers the mystical reincarnation tree and offers half of the golden elixir to aid Mu Qingge’s rebirth.
