It’s now official: Lee Joon will step in as the new host of the hit YouTube variety show “Workman.”
Earlier this May, longtime MC Jang Sung Kyu bid farewell to the series after an impressive six-year run, leaving fans curious about who would fill his shoes. This week, the production team finally confirmed that Lee Joon would be leading the upcoming season.
Lee Joon, who has already begun filming, expressed his excitement, saying, “I really let go of a lot through this shoot. I will show you my natural self without any embellishments.” His words suggest that fans can look forward to a fresh, authentic side of the actor and entertainer.
The production team also shared their confidence in the new host, commenting, “Lee Joon is quick-witted and gets really focused when it comes to work. Together with our change of MC, the program will evolve into a more in-depth job experience.”
The upcoming season will kick off with a teaser on July 25, and new episodes will air every Friday on the official “Workman” YouTube channel.
