A representative from Hyeri’s agency stated that she deeply mourns the firefighters and civilians who lost their lives in the tragedy. Hyeri made the donation hoping it could provide even a small measure of comfort and support to the bereaved families coping with sudden and overwhelming loss.

Shin Hoon, Secretary General of Hope Bridge, expressed sincere gratitude for Hyeri’s heartfelt contribution and emphasized that the donation will be used effectively for recovery work and assistance programs for the affected families.

Founded in 1961 by national media outlets and civic groups, Hope Bridge is a specialized disaster-relief fundraising institution in Korea. Its work spans emergency aid, monetary support, protection for disaster-vulnerable groups, and community recovery, alongside efforts in disaster prevention and the promotion of a safety-conscious culture to help build a more resilient society.
