The upcoming drama Undercover Ms. Hong has unveiled a new poster, offering the first clear glimpse into the show’s central premise of hidden identity and professional disguise. Set in the late 1990s, the series is an office comedy that blends workplace humor with a nostalgic portrayal of Korea’s financial world.

Undercover Ms. Hong stars Park Shin Hye as Hong Geum Bo, a highly accomplished financial supervisory officer in her 30s. While investigating suspicious fund activities, she is forced to conceal her true identity and go undercover as a 20-year-old rookie employee named Hong Jang Mi at a securities firm. What begins as a strategic operation quickly becomes a test of adaptability as she navigates office politics from the lowest rung of the corporate ladder.

The newly released poster highlights this striking duality. Dressed in a sharp suit, Hong Geum Bo stands confidently while holding a newspaper that reflects the image of her undercover persona—slightly awkward yet endearing. The contrast visually encapsulates her double life, signaling both the comedic tension and the personal challenges that come with living between two identities.

Beyond character dynamics, the drama also recreates the turbulent atmosphere of Yeouido’s financial district in the 1990s. Retro office settings and monitors filled with financial indicators evoke the era’s rapid economic shifts, adding depth and authenticity to the narrative backdrop.

Undercover Ms. Hong is scheduled to premiere on January 17, 2026, at 9:10 p.m. KST. With Park Shin Hye taking on a role that requires constant transformation, the series is already drawing attention as a fresh and dynamic addition to her filmography.
