Luxury travel in the American Southwest is reaching new heights as Amangiri, the renowned desert retreat in Utah, introduces private flights to nearby national parks. The resort has announced that guests will soon be able to book curated day trips by private aircraft, offering a seamless and exclusive way to experience some of the region’s most spectacular natural landscapes.
Through this new offering, guests can fly directly to Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, or Capitol Reef National Park. The experience also makes it possible to visit all five of Utah’s iconic national parks during a single stay, with the option to extend travel to Arizona’s Grand Canyon National Park.

According to Amangiri’s general manager, Mario Bevilacqua von Gunderrode, each itinerary is designed to allow guests to explore the highlights of one national park in a single day. He emphasized that Amangiri’s close connection to the untouched red rock terrain of the Colorado Plateau has always been central to the resort’s identity and guest experience.
Flights will depart from Page Municipal Airport, located less than 30 minutes from the resort, aboard either a King Air 200 or a Pilatus PC-12 NG turboprop aircraft. Day trips typically leave in the morning around 8 a.m. and return before 5 p.m., with flight times usually under one hour. Each excursion includes a guided ground tour lasting approximately four hours.
For instance, guests traveling to Canyonlands National Park will land at Canyonlands Field Airport near Moab before embarking on a guided day of hiking the Mesa Arch trail and visiting panoramic viewpoints across the vast canyon landscape.
Each private flight and full-day experience starts at $21,000, accommodating up to six guests, with taxes and service fees added separately. Reservations can be made through Amangiri’s experience team after confirming a room booking.
Beyond these aviation-based excursions, Amangiri continues to offer an immersive desert retreat. The property features more than 12 miles of designated hiking trails, a spa overlooking the surrounding landscape with outdoor treatments and mindfulness walks, and a detox program developed in collaboration with Aman wellness ambassador and tennis champion Novak Djokovic. Guests may also participate in Via Ferrata climbing routes, guided slot-canyon tours, hot air balloon rides, and stargazing sessions, completing a luxury experience deeply rooted in the natural environment.
