SBS closed out 2025 by honoring the most notable achievements in television drama at its annual awards ceremony, held on December 31 at the SBS Prism Tower in Seoul. The event was hosted by Shin Dong Yup, Chae Won Bin, and Heo Nam Jun.

The evening’s highest honor, the Daesang (Grand Prize), was awarded to Lee Je Hoon for his performance in Taxi Driver 3, which was also named Drama of the Year. With this win, Lee Je Hoon made history as the first actor to receive the Daesang twice for the same franchise, following his earlier win for Taxi Driver 2 in 2023, which he shared with Kim Tae Ri.
Recognition was spread across a wide range of genres. Yoon Kye Sang received the Director’s Award for The Winning Try, while Top Excellence Awards highlighted performances by actors such as Choi Woo Shik and Jung So Min in romantic comedy, as well as Park Hyung Sik and Go Hyun Jung in specialized and action-driven genres. Fantasy and human drama categories also stood out, with performers including Yook Sungjae and Kim Ji Yeon earning top honors.
Veteran actor Lee Soon Jae was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging his decades-long contribution to Korean television and film.
Additional accolades recognized ensemble chemistry and supporting performances. The Winning Try received the Best Teamwork Award for its portrayal of a high school rugby team, while Best Couple honors went to Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin for Dynamite Kiss. Scene Stealer and Best Supporting Actor awards further highlighted the depth of performances across SBS’s 2025 drama lineup.
The ceremony underscored SBS’s continued focus on genre diversity, strong ensemble casts, and long-running series that resonate with viewers.
