tvN’s upcoming comedy drama Undercover Miss Hong has released new stills, offering a glimpse into Park Shin Hye and Cho Han Gyul’s hilariously disastrous first meeting. Set in the late 1990s, the drama blends workplace undercover elements with lighthearted humor.

Park Shin Hye stars as Hong Geum Bo, an elite financial supervisory officer in her 30s. Tasked with investigating suspicious transactions at Hanmin Securities, she goes undercover by posing as a 20-year-old entry-level employee, starting from the bottom of the corporate ladder.

Before beginning her mission, Hong Geum Bo decides to test whether she can convincingly pass as someone in her early twenties. Her method is unexpectedly bold: attempting to rent a 19+ video at a rental shop. During this experiment, she crosses paths with Albert Oh (Cho Han Gyul), an avid movie enthusiast.

In the newly revealed stills, the two find themselves competing over the same 19+ video. This chance encounter leads Hong Geum Bo to form an immediate—and highly unfavorable—impression of Albert Oh, whom she mistakenly labels as a “pervert.” Albert, on the other hand, is left visibly stunned by the misunderstanding, unable to hide his disbelief.

Although brief, this awkward encounter leaves a lasting impression on both characters. Fate soon brings them together again at Hanmin Securities, where Hong Geum Bo appears as a rookie employee and Albert Oh serves as the director of the crisis management department.

Albert Oh, the chairman’s grandson, is a classic nepo baby who was forced into corporate life against his will. Bored by routine office work, he finds his predictable days disrupted by the arrival of Hong Geum Bo, whose sharp instincts and unconventional presence inject unexpected energy into his world.

Beginning with a misunderstanding and evolving into an unlikely connection, Undercover Miss Hong sets the stage for a comedic exploration of identity, work, and personal transformation.

The drama will premiere on January 17, 2026, at 9:10 p.m. KST on tvN.
