Park Jin Hee and Nam Sang Ji have been confirmed as the lead actresses of the upcoming daily drama Red Pearl (literal title). The series presents an intense revenge narrative from a female-centered perspective, following two women who return under false identities to expose long-buried sins and secrets within the Adele family.

Park Jin Hee takes on a dual role, portraying twin sisters Kim Myung Hee and Kim Dan Hee. The older sister, Kim Myung Hee, is a kind-hearted nurse who dreams of a simple and happy family life. Her world collapses when she encounters an unexpected truth, ultimately leading to a tragic death. After uncovering the truth behind her sister’s fate, the younger twin, Dan Hee, abandons her own identity and lives under her sister’s name, launching a carefully calculated plan of revenge aimed at taking control of the Adele Group.
Nam Sang Ji plays another woman whose life is destroyed in an instant by a sudden accident that claims her family. Driven by loss and anger, she discards her former identity and reinvents herself as Chloe Lee, a globally recognized brand consultant. Under this new persona, she infiltrates the Adele Group, meticulously advancing her revenge. However, an unforeseen obstacle emerges, threatening to disrupt her carefully laid plans.
According to the production team, both characters lose what matters most to them amid a world of secrets and desire, and their return under false identities sets the stage for confronting hidden truths. What begins as a relationship shaped by revenge gradually evolves beyond conflict into solidarity and mutual understanding, forming the emotional core of the drama’s “womance.” The team also highlighted that the emotional depth and on-screen synergy between Park Jin Hee and Nam Sang Ji will be a key driving force of the series.
Red Pearl is scheduled to premiere this February.
