The film HUMINT has released new stills featuring Shin Sae Kyeong in character, offering an early look at her role in the upcoming spy action project. The film centers on the tense confrontation between North and South Korean intelligence agents as they investigate criminal activities near the Vladivostok border, setting the story against a backdrop of geopolitical complexity.

Shin Sae Kyeong plays Chae Sun Hwa, a woman working at a North Korean restaurant in Vladivostok whose position connects her to nearly every major character in the film. Among them are Chief Jo, portrayed by Zo In Sung, who proposes that she become an informant, as well as Park Geon and Hwang Chi Seong, played by Park Jeong Min and Park Hae Joon. In the released stills, Shin Sae Kyeong conveys both a quiet mystery and a resolute intensity, hinting at a character whose role extends far beyond her outward appearance.

Reflecting on her decision to join the project, Shin Sae Kyeong shared that she felt no hesitation from the moment she first read the script. She described the experience as deeply engaging and expressed a sense of honor in being part of the film.

Director Ryoo Seung Wan also spoke highly of the actress, noting her distinctive and refreshing presence. He emphasized her strong inner energy and remarked that her close-up shots on the big screen carry a unique impact. According to the director, audiences will encounter a side of Shin Sae Kyeong as a film actress that they have not seen before.

Scheduled for theatrical release on February 11, HUMINT appears poised to blend high-stakes espionage with layered character dynamics. As more details emerge, Shin Sae Kyeong’s portrayal of Chae Sun Hwa is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the film’s emotional and narrative depth.
