As Taxi Driver 3 approaches its final mission, the series shifts into a more serious and introspective phase. Lee Je Hoon’s Kim Do Gi sheds his many disguises and returns to his original identity, signaling that the story is moving toward its emotional and narrative core.

Based on the popular webtoon, SBS’s Taxi Driver follows a covert taxi service that carries out acts of revenge on behalf of victims failed by the justice system. Throughout the series, Kim Do Gi has repeatedly assumed different personas to infiltrate corrupt institutions. However, in the newly released stills from the upcoming episode, he abandons those alter egos and returns to his past as a special forces soldier.
After learning that his former subordinate Yoo Sun Ah, played by Jeon So Nee, has died under suspicious circumstances, Do Gi is shaken by the news. Determined to uncover the truth behind her death, he voluntarily returns to the military. Dressed in full uniform and combat gear, he reenters a rigid system he once belonged to, this time as an investigator driven by personal loss.

The stills emphasize his transformation. His precise salute and composed posture reflect the discipline of a model soldier, projecting a presence that is calm yet resolute. Another image, showing Do Gi driving a military truck late at night instead of his familiar taxi, raises questions about the operation he is preparing and the risks he is willing to take.

With the military known for its strict security and internal cover-ups, the question now is how Do Gi plans to bypass these barriers and expose the truth. By returning to his roots, the character confronts not only a hidden crime but also his own past, adding emotional weight to the series’ conclusion.
The next episode of Taxi Driver 3 will air on January 9 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
