SBS’s upcoming fantasy romance No Tail to Tell has released a highlight teaser that hints at dramatic consequences triggered by a single wish. Starring Kim Hye Yoon and Lomon, the drama blends supernatural elements with emotional growth, following two unlikely individuals whose lives become dangerously intertwined.

Kim Hye Yoon plays Eun Ho, a quirky Gen Z gumiho determined never to become human, never to love humans, and never to meet a tragic end. Lomon stars as Kang Si Yeol, an overconfident world-class soccer player whose life revolves entirely around the sport—and himself. Their paths collide through a chain of unexpected events that force them into each other’s lives.
The teaser opens with glimpses of Eun Ho’s turbulent past, accompanied by her resolute voice-over declaring her refusal to become human or love one. This firm resolve is immediately challenged by a surprising scene that shows Eun Ho lying beside Kang Si Yeol in bed, raising questions about how her carefully guarded beliefs begin to unravel.
For Eun Ho, life among humans is like a game with optional in-app purchases—she enjoys only the fun, without hardship or sacrifice. However, fate draws her into the orbit of Kang Si Yeol, whose confidence masks a narrow, self-centered worldview. Their connection originates with Hyun Woo Seok, a struggling soccer player dismissed from a lower league, whose desperation prompts Si Yeol to use Eun Ho’s wish card.
To prove her powers to the skeptical Si Yeol, Eun Ho grants Hyun Woo Seok’s wish—but at a cost. She alters Si Yeol’s fate in the process, a moment underscored by her calm declaration, “I’ve swapped your fates,” followed by Si Yeol’s anguished refusal to accept the life suddenly thrust upon him.
The teaser also introduces a range of intriguing characters, including Geum Ho, a gumiho who once lived with Eun Ho centuries ago and served as an older-sister figure; Lee Yoon, a wealthy conglomerate heir who believes money can solve everything; and Jang Do Chul, a mysterious shaman relentlessly pursuing the gumiho.
In its final moments, the teaser hints at a shift in the dynamic between Eun Ho and Si Yeol, alongside the possibility that Eun Ho may be losing her supernatural powers. As her freedom and abilities slip away, the drama raises a central question: can a gumiho who has long rejected love rediscover herself—and experience love for the first time—when she becomes most vulnerable?
