Netflix has unveiled the first look at its upcoming original series “Teach You a Lesson,” drawing attention to a story set against the growing tensions within modern education systems. The drama centers on the fictional Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB), a government task force established to restore teachers’ authority amid unruly students, increasingly demanding parents, and schools struggling to maintain order.

Kim Moo Yeol stars as Na Hwa Jin, a straightforward and uncompromising ERPB inspector known for his no-nonsense approach in the field. Opposite him, veteran actor Lee Sung Min takes on the role of Choi Gang Seok, the minister of education who founded the bureau, representing the policy-driven force behind the organization’s creation.
Jin Ki Joo appears as Im Han Rim, a former special forces inspector whose background adds discipline and tactical strength to the team. P.O rounds out the main cast as Bong Geun Dae, a brilliant yet endearingly disorganized officer whose presence brings a contrasting rhythm to the group dynamic. Together, the four characters form a task force marked by differing methods and perspectives.
“Teach You a Lesson” is directed by Hong Jong Chan, known for “Juvenile Justice,” and written by Lee Nam Kyu of “Daily Dose of Sunshine.” The series is scheduled to premiere globally on Netflix in the second quarter of 2026.
