Ahead of tonight’s broadcast, the drama “The Judge Returns” has released new stills that heighten anticipation for the next chapter of the story. The series stars Ji Sung as Lee Han Young, a corrupt judge who once lived under the control of a powerful law firm before unexpectedly traveling ten years back in time and choosing to pursue justice on his own terms.

In the previous episode, Lee Han Young was assigned the Nammyeon District sinkhole case and targeted the main culprit, district office head Choo Yong Jin. The case became more complicated when Haenal Law Firm stepped in to defend the district office. Lawyer Yoo Ha Na, who is also the older sister of Lee Han Young’s blind date Yoo Se Hee, attempted to pressure him into ruling in the district office’s favor. Despite this, Lee Han Young refused to give in and carried out his own form of justice against Choo Yong Jin.
As the conflict between Lee Han Young and Haenal Law Firm intensifies, newly released stills show him personally entering Haenal Law Firm, a place deeply connected to his tragic death before his regression. In the images, Lee Han Young cautiously observes the surroundings, suggesting that his visit is both deliberate and risky, and raising questions about what prompted him to confront the firm directly.
The reactions within Haenal Law Firm further amplify the tension. Firm head Yoo Seon Cheol and lawyer Yoo Ha Na appear visibly uneasy, while Yoo Se Hee, who brought Lee Han Young along, and eldest son Yoo Jin Gwang remain relaxed. With even the family members divided in their response, viewers are left eager to see how Lee Han Young will handle the intense scrutiny he now faces.
The next episode of “The Judge Returns” airs on January 23 at 9:50 p.m. KST.
