The Japanese film Homura Kagayoe, starring Araki Towa, has announced the participation of Totsuka Shota (A.B.C-Z) and Hara Yoshitaka (timelesz). Along with the casting news, the production team also unveiled the official poster and confirmed the film’s release date as April 3.

Set during Japan’s Sengoku period, the film centers on Ashina Moritaka, portrayed by Araki Towa, a highly gifted daimyo whose talent even earns the respect of Oda Nobunaga. Moritaka was originally the eldest son of the Nikaido clan, but after his family’s defeat by the Ashina clan, he was taken captive and raised as a hostage from a young age.
At the age of 14, Moritaka experiences his first battle, where he encounters the opposing general Satake Yoshishige in a fateful confrontation. Shortly thereafter, Ashina Morioki, the 17th head of the Ashina clan, passes away at a young age due to illness. Moritaka is then appointed as his successor, becoming the 18th leader of the Ashina family.
The supporting cast includes Gennosuke, Higuchi Hima, Yutaro, Yoshida Metal, Matsudai Koya, Sugie Taishi, Sho, Kato Konatsu, Kaku So, Kyomoto Masaki, and Nakamura Baijaku.
