On February 6, “Music Bank” officially announced that actor Kim Jae Won and izna member Bang Jeemin have been selected as the show’s 40th MC duo, succeeding Moon Sang Min and ILLIT’s Minju.
Kim Jae Won has steadily built his acting career through dramas such as “Our Blues,” “King the Land,” “The Tale of Lady Ok,” and “The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call.” He is also set to take on the male lead role in “Yumi’s Cells 3” later this year. In addition to his acting work, he has demonstrated versatility and strong on-screen presence through variety programs including “Heart on Wheels” and “2 Days & 1 Night.”
Bang Jeemin gained public recognition through the survival program “I-LAND 2” before debuting as a member of izna in 2024. She has since drawn attention for her stage performance skills and natural charisma, while also gaining experience as a special MC on several broadcast programs.
Kim Jae Won and Bang Jeemin are scheduled to make their official MC debut on the February 27 broadcast of “Music Bank,” where they will also present a special stage, marking the beginning of their new roles on the weekly music show.
