Rookie actor Won Gyu Bin is reportedly stepping into a major role in the highly anticipated Moving 2, with local media suggesting he may take over the character of Kim Bong Seok. The role was previously portrayed by Lee Jung Ha in Season 1 of the Disney+ hit series.

According to reports on April 16, Won Gyu Bin recently attended a full script reading held at KINTEX in Ilsan, where approximately 150 cast and crew members gathered. His presence at the event has fueled speculation that he has been cast as the new Bong Seok.

However, both the actor’s agency and the platform have issued reserved responses. Won Gyu Bin’s agency stated that they are “unable to confirm,” while Disney+ similarly declined to verify the casting reports. These cautious statements leave the situation officially unresolved, despite growing industry attention.

Based on the webtoon by Kang Full, Moving is a superhero action drama centered on teenagers with hidden abilities and their parents, whose pasts are intertwined with dangerous secrets. The first season achieved significant global success, becoming the most-watched Korean original on Disney+ at the time of its release.

Season 2 is expected to broaden the narrative scope, introducing new characters while shifting more focus toward the adult generation. This transition coincides with casting changes, including the absence of Lee Jung Ha, who enlisted in the Marine Corps in January and is currently serving his mandatory military duty. His discharge is scheduled for July 2027.

For Won Gyu Bin, if confirmed, the role would mark a major step forward early in his career. Having debuted in 2025 with BITCH X RICH 2 and with another project already in the pipeline, his potential casting in a high-profile franchise like Moving would significantly raise his visibility.

With Moving 2 targeting a 2027 release, further official announcements are expected as production progresses. Until then, the reported casting remains a topic of anticipation rather than confirmation.
