Exciting New Route Introduced
Alaska Airlines has made travel to Seoul significantly easier by announcing a new nonstop flight service from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Incheon International Airport (ICN), effective September 12. This new route marks an exciting development for travelers looking to explore the rich culture and sights of South Korea.
Flight Schedule and Details
The nonstop flights will operate five times a week, departing Seattle at 3:25 p.m. on Wednesdays through Sundays, and arriving in Seoul at 6:50 p.m. local time. The return flights will leave Seoul at 8:50 p.m., touching down back in Seattle at 3:00 p.m. the following day. Notably, these services will commence just in time for Chuseok, Korea’s harvest festival, which falls on October 15.
Future Plans and Opportunities
With a vision to enhance travel connectivity, Alaska Airlines aims to increase its offerings to 12 nonstop international routes by 2030. This new link to Seoul complements the upcoming nonstop flights to Tokyo, set to begin on May 12. Andrew Harrison, the Chief Commercial Officer at Alaska Airlines, emphasized the importance of this service, stating, “With our robust network, we can connect our guests through our global gateway in Seattle for convenient nonstop service to Seoul and Tokyo.”
Travel enthusiasts can now book their tickets through either Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines, and take advantage of the seamless travel experience to some of the most dynamic destinations in Asia.
