Major Cast Confirmed for ‘The Tyrant’s Chef’
tvN’s upcoming drama titled “The Tyrant’s Chef,” directed by the acclaimed Jang Tae Yoo, has finalized an impressive cast. The network announced on January 24 that popular artists, including Girls’ Generation’s Yoona, Lee Chae Min, Kang Han Na, and Choi Gwi Hwa, will take on pivotal roles in this highly anticipated series.
A Glimpse into the Plot
The drama presents a unique fantasy romance narrative focused on an ambitious chef named Yeon Ji Young, portrayed by Yoona. Her character is a cheerful chef who has achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the head chef of a Michelin 3-star restaurant in Paris. However, on the day she secures a prestigious culinary accolade, she mysteriously travels back to the Joseon era, where she encounters a tyrant king, Lee Heon, played by Lee Chae Min.
