The drama “Nagatan to Aoto – Ichika no Ryoricho – 2,” starring Kadowaki Mugi with ACEes member Sakuma Ryuto as the male lead, has officially confirmed its premiere date as February 20, 2026, along with the release of a teaser video.

As the sequel to the 2023 WOWOW adaptation of Isoya Yuki’s manga, the story continues in post-war Kyoto and follows Kuwanoki Ichika (Kadowaki), known as “Nagatan,” and her husband Amane (Sakuma), known as “Aoto,” who is 15 years younger than her. Initially married for political reasons, the couple gradually grows closer as they work together to revive the long-established Kuwanoki restaurant.
In this new season, Ichika and Amane’s family welcomes a new member. Just as the restaurant begins to stabilize after financial struggles, the sudden return of Sakae—Amane’s older brother and the second son of the Yamaguchi family—brings new tensions to their marriage.
The newly revealed supporting cast includes Kumada Rinka, Shiraishi Shunya, Ono Takehiko, Iida Kisuke, Tokoshima Yoshiko, Nakamura Aoi, and Toda Keiko.
“Nagatan to Aoto – Ichika no Ryoricho – 2” consists of 10 episodes and will air on WOWOW, with streaming available on WOWOW On Demand.
