Adapted from Sena Kazuaki’s novel of the same name, the series delivers a charming romantic comedy that reflects the anxieties and emotional struggles of modern individuals. By using “animal courtship behavior” as a narrative motif, the story juxtaposes scientific observation with human emotions, offering new perspectives on happiness and self-understanding.

Synopsis

Ichiha Shibata joins a publishing company with dreams of becoming a fashion magazine editor, only to learn on her first day that the magazine is being discontinued. She is reassigned to a lifestyle magazine’s editorial team and tasked with launching a love-advice column written by her idol, model Haizawa Aria.

Following Aria’s blunt order to “just write something,” Ichiha visits Shido Tsukasa (Ikuta Toma), a university associate professor dedicated to studying animal courtship behavior and indifferent to anything unrelated to his research. Their unexpected encounter sets the stage for a warm, humorous, and thought-provoking romantic journey.

Broadcast Information

The drama “Panda yori Koi ga Nigate na Watashitachi” will air from January 2026 every Saturday at 22:00 on NTV.
