tvN officially announced on December 18 that Yim Si Wan and Seol In Ah will star as the leads in its upcoming drama My Guilty Human (literal title). Blending romance, suspense, and comedic elements, the series is adapted from the popular web novel and webtoon Why Don’t You Know She’s a Woman, and has drawn attention following the casting reveal.

My Guilty Human is a romance thriller centered on an arrogant third-generation chaebol heir who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, and a former special forces officer who goes undercover to investigate him. Through shifting identities and psychological tension, the drama explores how suspicion and intimacy collide.
Yim Si Wan plays Yoon Yi Jun, the next heir to Taegang Group, the most powerful conglomerate in the business world. Although he appears to have everything—good looks, intelligence, and social status—his extreme sensitivity and perfectionist nature make him a notoriously difficult boss, often driving employees to resign. After a murder occurs within his company and he is named the main suspect, Yi Jun withdraws from society, until the arrival of a new personal secretary alters the course of his life.
Seol In Ah stars as Kang Jae Hee, a former special forces officer assigned to uncover the truth behind the case. Disguising herself as a man, she infiltrates Yi Jun’s inner circle as his personal secretary. Armed with military training and combat skills, Jae Hee must navigate both a dangerous investigation and the daily unpredictability of her emotionally volatile superior.
As a murder suspect and an undercover investigator, Yoon Yi Jun and Kang Jae Hee become entangled in overlapping roles as employer and secretary, suspect and observer. Over time, they begin to discover unexpected sides of each other, blurring the line between romance and camaraderie, and setting the stage for a tense yet emotionally charged psychological struggle.
My Guilty Human is scheduled to premiere in 2026 and is expected to attract attention for its genre fusion, character dynamics, and adaptation of a well-known original work.
